This policy applies to Techneaux’s customers who opt-in to receive SMS/text messages.   This policy satisfies a core requirement of TCR, TCPA, and CTIA.  

Techneaux values customer privacy and is committed to protecting their personal information. This policy explains how Techneaux collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information.

When a customer opts-in to SMS/text message, Techneaux may collect the following:

• Phone numbers (required to send SMS/text messages)
• Names
• Consent records (to document your opt-in to our SMS/texting services)

When a customer opts-in to SMS/text message, Techneaux may collect the following:

• Send customers information via SMS/text messages
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide customer support
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities related to our SMS/texting services
• Improve Techneaux services and develop new features

Techneaux will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer customer personal information to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Techneaux may only share such information with/for:

• Service providers (third-party vendors who assist Techneaux in operating our SMS/texting services and conducting our business)
• Legal compliance (when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process)
• Business transfers (in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, or other business transaction)

A customer may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from Techneaux at any time by:

• Texting "STOP" to the number from which a message was received
• Contacting Techneaux at support@techneaux.com

Techneaux implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of customer personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Techneaux’s SMS/texting services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. Techneaux will not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If Techneaux becomes aware that information has been collected from a child under the age of 13, Techneaux will take steps to delete such information.

Techneaux may update this policy and will notify customers of any changes by posting the new policy the Techneaux website. Customers are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
